"Sentimental Value"

This is a film about making a film. Surprisingly this song was used during a car ride in order to hire an ol´film maker in the movie, and to great effect, I must say. -Well, old? At least he´s supposed to be an ol´baby-boomer around 70 years of age that allegedly had his youth around 1980, I take it. Why using this song? Ah, "Scene" is a word in the song title and making movies is all about shooting scenes.

It reminds me of a bird´s eye view of a sports-car ride in a recent film where they used the Hazlewood/Sinatra song "Summer Wine" to great effect.
