Thanks for the link Avalon_eyes

and thanks to Andy for being so open and answering all those potentially troublesome questions, e.g. BFs commercial step using the Avalon titel for his US Tour...

Whatever, very fair and diplomatic, and not endangering any possible future plans for the (great) Roxy Music.... again it seems, it is down to Bryan.

Good to read as well that they are still in touch with each other.

That's a good start to the day... :-)

Good ol' Andy eh? As measured and diplomatic as ever, such a shame that I feel it will all fall on two particular deaf ears!

But as ever, we live in hope.

Nice interview. So does anyone know if the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame gets broadcast live and if so will it also be televised in the UK?

Quote from the interview:
"Who knows? I think we’ll come up with something. Obviously if the ceremony is in New York, if there’s someone based there that’ll be a bonus."

If Andy reads this, contact Sal Maida via PM (private message, not Phil lol on Facebook). He is NYC based. I'm sure he'd do it. (hint, hint)

Was the 1975 tour actually advertised as a farewell tour? I assumed it was just the tour in support of Siren. There might have been a sense that things were coming to an end, at least temporarily what with Bryan's solo career taking off, but I didn't think anything final was suggested.

Great interview. Hope dies last. I think they are in the starting blocks. Bryan, make something out of it.

News to me. It was the Siren tour and, as I recall, the 'sabbatical' wasn't even announced until after the UK leg.

A good interview by a true gentleman...

It's interesting that AM claims to be too busy to have found time to talk with Eno about the the impending honor. Will he or won't he show up? Who knows? Maybe Bono can talk him into it...

Dean, I know for sure it's shown in the USA, so it may be shown in the UK on some sort of delay.
