I thought Sal Maida might get the nod, especially as he lives out there, (apparently he will be there perfoming with the Zombies on the night). Would have worked well too if PT had played - would have been a re-union of the 'Viva' era live band.

Neil Jason also lives in NY, I think? As for songs. I could understand if Avalon was performed as it is one that would be recognised by more of the audience. Love is the Drug, as their breakthrough American hit single, and Out of the Blue, if Eddie performs. If eddie doesn'tplay then I wouldn't be surprised at Do the Strand, or even Virginia Plain.

So my guess, which will probably be totally wrong:

Out of the Blue
Love is the Drug
Avalon

Looks like Ferry, MacKay, Manzanera, and Jobson....according to Phil

https://ultimateclassicrock.com/brian-e ... induction/

“I spoke to Eno, and he's thrilled to be inducted,” Manzanera says. “But he's committed to not flying for a year for environmental reasons, and he's halfway through. He said he feels bad about it. He's very environmentally aware of his carbon footprint, and he doesn't want to break this pledge, but he's very happy for us.'
As for original drummer Thompson, "he's also very happy to be inducted. But unfortunately, he's got arthritis in his hands and neck and can only do very low-key drumming. So he's unable to attend. He's disappointed about that. But we got [keyboardist/violinist] Eddie Jobson, so there will be at least four Roxy people on.”

Interesting that Phil said they had rehearsed a whole bunch of songs and it depended how much time they were allocated which ones they would choose to perform.

Whatever they will play there: ridiculous.

Paul Thompson has arthritis, ha ha ha ha. Greetings to Lindisfarne ...

It would be funny if Andy, Phil and Eddie would also be in the audience and Bryan appears with his new Roxy Music Band.

I hope they all have so much decency to announce the official end of Roxy Music after the award ceremony. But I'm afraid that they have no eggs in their pants ...

Well, that's a strange thing to announce! Paul has never made any mention of this, not that he should as it's personal. Now Manzo has said this gives two reasons why Paul isn't there. I hope this isn't true btw.

Maybe you know Sal better than I do, Alan, but he told me that he wasn't expecting to be at the ceremony itself. He has links to the Zombies through friends, so will hopefully still be able to join them and Roxy to celebrate their inductions, before and/or after the main event.
