Yeah, Duran Duran were great fans. I fear it`s gonna be a non-event, with RM not even playing a song. BF might be staying in his comfort zone, making it a luke warm ceremony, well, maybe just one song.

I would have preferred someone like Nile Rodgers to read the citation for Roxy.

I doubt that any of the seven inductees will be allowed to play more than three songs, but I hope Roxy does more than one. I am optimisic that Roxy will perform and cautiously hopeful that Eddie Jobson will join them in that (sources to remain confidential! ). Fingers crossed...

Having paid a fortune for a good seat for the NY event, I certainly hope they play the usual 3 songs that most all inductees play.
If anyone has reliable knowledge that they are in fact only playing 1 or none, please do share, as I will resell my ticket pronto. The only reason I plan on sitting through the 4+ hour event is to see them one last time perform, albeit for 12-15 minutes.

I don`t know anything. I just shared my own thoughts.

I don't see ANY reason for them not to play. There's not that much drama in the air. Definitely could be historic if Eddie Jobson re-joins them onstage for a few numbers. Let's be hopeful.

If EJ participates in a Roxy Reunion Performance, then don't they have to play Out of the Blue?

His violin solo on OOTB is unquestionably an iconic component of the Roxy Legacy!

My thoughts too, DCJ! A friend in NYC tells me that LITD is also popular there, so maybe those two and VP?

As all 8 Roxy inductees were active during '72-'76, I just hope that's the era they choose the songs from (although I fear we might get Avalon and/or Jealous Guy...).

This story from a US public radio website says that Eno will be part of the RRHOF induction. I don't know the reliability of this assertion, but the writer seems to think its true...

Per the article, Eno inducted (yes), appearing (no).

Absolutely disappointing, even if I can't be there. I had a Roxy ticket for Stuttgart (Germany) in 2005. The show was cancelled by the band in order to play at the Live 8 Festival. So why can't they all cancel whatever they are up to at March 29? Is a membership in this epoch-making band no good reason to appear under all circumstances? Sorry, B. Eno and TGPT, I don't understand you
