Thanks for the link Robertron!

EJ is very gracious and well-spoken when it's just him and the interviewer. And then PM and AM show up and he alsmost disappears... The AM and EJ handshake is the most fleeting handshake I've ever seen! Blink and you'll miss it!

Well he didn't quite disappear did he?

As for the handshakes, they probably only saw each other quite recently? And anyway, Andy doesn't really do handshakes, maybe since his hand surgery?
They're always very gentle.

I'm usually skeptical of those who try and decipher "body language," but boy-oh-boy there wasn't much camaraderie among the foursome that accepted the award......... Nothing wrong with that, but where was the spark???

Cher DCJ,
W2 last saw ‘Roxy’ in Sydney (2011) when they did their ‘FYP’ show.
The set list was brilliant. The band were note perfect mais, Mon Dieu, had all the Bon Ami left that room.
They all looked like they’d have rather been at a wake.
To be fair, there had been a huge hiatus over ticket sales so maybe that had something to do with it but frankly W2 is not so sure.
Charisma is such a part of live performance that Windswept remembers thinking at the time that all this reforming for the wonga business comes at a price !
Madison Square Garden 2001 was amazing. He prefers to remember that.
Salutations,
Windswept

W2:
2001 was indeed the high point of Roxy Reunion Tours.

I hope for your sake that BF's setlist undergoes significant revision for the upcoming RAH gig, but I'll be surprised if it does. Sigh.

I still hold out hope that a cd of BF's '74 RAH concerts will be released - that would make for an interesting listen - but we haven't heard much about it lately...

It was Eddie Jobson that brought a tear to my eye... what an absolute pleasure to see him one more time with Roxy playing that iconic solo on "Out Of The Blue" never in a million years did I ever think that would ever happen again. Just class

I'm grateful today for what I can put on the turn table and look back on with happy memories because lets face it with no chemistry and what seems to be no love lost between them, then there simply isn't any point in forcing a reunion just for the sake of it. Roxy are well and truly over.

Hope BF works with EJ in the future, I'm really not ready for seeing the last of him, maybe Bryan could squeeze him in somewhere WHEN he assembles his orchestra and announces the long awaited Bitter-Sweet tour. ;)

More likely to be EJ working with Phil and Andy

Does anyone know why Phil was late getting to the stage, walking on during the vocal part of the first song ?!

Anyone know why EJ was left out of the band for Manifesto and beyond?

I presume that BF pitched Cry, Cry, Cry and My Little Girl at EJ and explained the direction he wanted the re-formed band to follow, at which point EJ immediately said “Sod that !”

After three years he probably went on to other things.
