Thanks Stabbs.

I see it as Bryan was representing the band and assume Phil & Andy approved the speech he gave hence the use of "we". They both gave Bryan a reassuring pat on the shoulder/arm as he approached the microphone to speak. The speech was before the performance and all bar Phil looked a bit nervous to me. I loved his funny counting the bass players on his fingers as Bryan reeled them off. :)

8-)

It kind of looked to me as though Andy MacKay was moving toward the mic when Bryan Ferry finished his speech, as though he was expecting to speak as well.

Well spotted. It definitely looks like Bryan is passing the award to Andy & Andy is about to step up and say a few words. However, the band are ushered away to perform before he can.

Apparently Stevie Nicks induction and acceptance speeches were a little overlong, as noted by Robert Smith in his speech, where he made a funny comment as such and basically said he wouldn't waste time speaking as it would impact on the band's performance time and the fans would rather here them play a few songs than listen to him rambling on.

So, I think maybe Andy, (and Phil?) were going to say a few words originally, but were cut short. would be interesting to know for sure.

I note that BF mentions many of the men that were involved in creating the Roxy album covers, but the women models are not named.

I don't know what it means, but it is interesting...
