You would have thought there would at least have been some new promo shots from the band? An interview together on a couple of tv shows, maybe even a performance. I remember quite a bit of fanfare in 2001, savoy announcement, totp show etc. I know it’s not been as big a gap since they last performed but they’re celebrating 50 years! |

So 2 songs less in San Francisco last night - 20 down to 18. No Same Old Scene and no Jealous Guy to end. Hopefully just a temporary reduction in the show, he says optimistically. |

Noticed this as well. Strange that two songs have been dropped entirely rather than just rearranged in the set list. Jealous Guy for example could have been moved up a couple of slots so as to end with one of the uptempo numbers. Same Old Scene was also dropped for the Texas show which is a surprise as the low key arrangement is actually not too bad - don’t see the need to entirely remove it. I wonder how they’re feeling playing out there and now thinking they’d rather be doing more intimate venues and a more extended UK/Europe tour. Hopefully they’ll ramp it up for the three UK shows. |

I noticed there were noticable less ticket sales for San Fransisco in the survey under "tours" at this site. Mavbe that had something to say. Los Angeles looks a tad better. |

Maybe the tour organizer in America reduced the fee for the band due to the somewhat vague response and the resulting low income, which Roxy immediately took as an opportunity to shorten the repertoire to 18 songs... |
