I’ve gone for the Newcastle Complete (1974); and The Thrill of it All (USA, 1976)FM radio broadcasts of live gigs , bought on CD from Fopp here in the UK. And may be available on line.
Theres also Oakland Auditorium , 1979, which is not quite as thrilling ( No Jobson) but it has its moments.

There`s so little we can do, and we`re "rationalizing". The Glastonbury option had to go. Phil hadn`t even heard of it. Suddenly we`re all not surprised. :|

The FYP deluxe edition and an expanded issue of Viva would be great.

Think of a person who you know who is around 80 years old. Do they work, are they active, are they in good health and are they fully mobile? I think you might know what I'm going to say. As Alan has already pointed out BF is 79 next year. Perhaps our expectations of him are too high, and perhaps we should be more realistic. When it comes to touring it's not just the performance, but the rehearsals and the travel.

Perhaps the most likely person to perform live this year is Phil. He appears to be in good health, loves playing live and now has a new guitar rig. He also has an excellent guitar tech in Lucas Polo. I can live in hope :D

Although it's sad news I hope the last Ferry/Roxy chapter is not yet written. Of course Bryan (and the other Roxy band members) would have deserved their retirement but most artists (musicians, painters, writers, actors etc.) work much longer than non-artists. Simply because it's not just a job but a profession, an obsession and a way of life.

So the chances are good that there are songs, albums or even shows to come. Myself I am mostly interested in hidden treasures of the Roxy/Ferry back catalogue (outtakes, live recordings) and of course a (last?) album from Bryan (including Andy? Phil? Paul?). When we were young we were looking forward to love letters - so Bryan, don't disappoint us with yours now that we're old (at least a bit) :D.
