The first in a number of themed digital EPs, available across the usual platforms. Tracks: Pyjamarama Virginia Plain Out Of The Blue Prairie Rose Ladytron
Not sure what purpose these serve other than something of a curiosity, or a potential hook for new listeners. But for established fans, I think the limited 'curio' element to these would be greater if they were a physical product. Yet again, something that would be a welcome element for RSD.

Ahhh, the unmistakable accuracy we've come to expect in the digital/'IT'/Amazon era. Not sure if other platforms are giving GRJ the credit he is long overdue.

This may be tied in to the re-re-release of the 1999 re-masters on CD, (at least the first five albums) . The track list is mildly of interest and the running order equally so.

It seems that the Japanese SHM releases of the first 5 albums are remastered, although by whom and when there is no indication. It does seem strange to me that we have waited 26 years for further remasters of these. https://roxymusic.tmstor.es/

Interesting points avalon_eyes and True2Life. I hadn't thought of these EPs in the context of the CD re-releases.
It would be good to know more about these latest reissues - as T2L observes, what is the nature of the remastering? My initial take on it is they're all the 1999 Remasters transferred onto longer-lasting SHM CDs. Whether they also incorporate 2022's half-speed masters is unclear: only the debut album specifies this in the RM store. Furthermore, if they were all a more up to date remaster, and the purpose of the digital EPs was to promote them, surely they'd feature the latest version, but instead they're all the 1999 versions.
It's hard to see what additional benefit these CD releases are doing to deliver. Assuming they're essentially all the 1999 versions, then it's another opportunity lost. Those versions, good though they were, already sound very dated compared to contemporary output. As T2L laments, it's a mystery why, amid so many reissues, someone hasn't seen fit to release anything so far (beyond Roxy's debut and swansong) that drags their catalogue into the 21st century.

I had to look this up - the Roxy Music site , and the uDiscover Music pitch , refer not just to the Super High Material (SHM) CD format but also to the Miles Showell half speed masters, so one assumes that these upcoming releases are those rather than the 1999 set , which are tagged for the Art Rock EP downloads.
I’m not sure how enhanced the listening experience will be with these CDs - they play on standard CD players - but one assumes you need supporting audio to optimise the sound.

On UDiscover Music's site, the only CD that mentions the Miles Showell half speed masters, is 'Roxy Music'. The others just reference 'Remastered Edition'. I'd have thought if they're newly remastered, they'd come with a bit more of a fanfare, so I'm not overly hopeful. At £99.95 for the first five releases, I think I'll hold back from ordering until I know more.
