Those of you who have been unable to catch any of Eddie Jobson's rare live performances during the past handful of years will be sorry to learn that he has now permanently retired from touring.

I was fortunate enough to see U.K. twice and this year's Fallen Angels tribute to John Wetton & Keith Emerson, having first met EJ when he guested with Curved Air at a small club in Kent.

He is a charming guy and it's sad to think that we won't see him again in live performance.

Hi! I was lucky to see UK on their last tour before John Wetton died. EJ was such a vital part of post-Eno Roxy. I have also enjoyed EJ's important work with UK. EJ also played with Frank Zappa for a approx 1 year. His violin solo on Black Napkins is amongst his most beautiful work. Here's an example from Paris 1977 it starts at 1.38.10: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY8rPk_wh3o&t=6165s
