Indeed it is. Remember he played it in Tokyo in the mid 90;s, but this version is better - much thanks to the eye candy Julia T! (I loved the moment when she spread her hair.) |

Hipsters - Ageing & Otherwise, I love Ferry's version of this song. It is hauntingly beautiful and I remember his rendition at NYC's Beacon Theatre in November '02 like it was yesterday. Amazing - the band line up was second only to ATGB. Simply brilliant and I'd love him to do more interpretations of some of these traditional songs. Regards, Windswept |

That's the AVO gig which has been bootlegged on good quality DVD (including professional artwork) under the title, if I remember correctly, of Jealous Guy. I think I paid about £15 for mine including shipping; if anyone's keen on one, then let me know and I'll return to the seller to see if the well has run dry yet. |

The AVO Session, Basel is a Swiss music festival; from the details at http://www.avo.ch, it appears that AVO makes cigars. There is a merchandise link in the website, but nothing BF-related. I have his AVO concert DVD myself and it's pretty good quality; not a wobbly, hand-held camcorder effort from the audience! I'll make a few enquiries on behalf of Oberon; anyone else interested (the supplier isn't UK based, so I'd prefer to keep it to one order to keep the costs down, if there's any left)? DVD is region 0, by the way, so should hopefully play everywhere. If the cost is off-putting, I'm always interested Roxy & BF part-exchanges, so maybe you have other live shows on DVD or CD to offer? |
