Small story on a possible book in the near future? http://www.thebookseller.com/news/rizzo ... ferry.html Obviously can't vouch for the legitimacy of it. |

Thanks for posting the news! I'd also heard whispers in the wind about this and a BF/Roxy coffee table book is long overdue (another 40th anniverary opportunity missed perhaps...). Lets hope Team BF & the publishers get some more news out there soon to generate some pre-orders. |

Ageing Diletantes & Other Degenerates, A warts and all auto biography (even if we had to put up with Michael Bracewell ghosting it ) would be my preferred Christmas gift from Mrs.Windswept. Failing that, a beautiful TASCHEN coffee table tomb dedicated to the art and style of Roxy & Ferry would be most welcome. Whatever it is to be, can I please request that all involved aller plus vite otherwise it will be another pair of sea island cotton socks and an Anderson & Sheppard silk knitted tie from Santa! Regards, Windswept. |

The nature of the publisher and the extent of BF's contribution alluded to (introduce images) suggests a coffee table collection of imagery rather than an autobiography though a very welcome addition to my humble home it will be, all the same. |

Nobody knows how to "repackage" The Catalog better than BF and now he'll have a chance to with classic Roxy/BF imagery in a big splashy coffee table book. It will be ready for Xmas 2014 and generate some Buzz and some income for BF. Maybe I'll buy in on a remainder table... |

Nobody knows how to "mess up" better than BF and now he'll have a chance to do it again with classic Roxy/BF imagery in a big splashy coffee table book. It will be ready for Xmas 2099 and generate no Buzz and no income for BF. Maybe nobody will buy in on a remainder table.. |

Ian. This is a huge admission for me. I love Roxy Music. I have seen them live on many occassions, as in, Roxy Music. I have probably seen Bryan Ferry solo, many times more. Sadly, Ferry solo, never re-ignited my enthusiasm for Roxy Music, the way the band did. I will go see him on tour, this year, probably get to meet him, gladly, but as Bryan Ferry, not as the lead singer from Roxy Music. There is a huge void there, for me. They say Ferry is Roxy Music. Not without the other bands member's, he's not. |
