I hope there will be planned meetups for these gigs as we seem to have the highest turnout of the die-hards in Scotland and London. Any thoughts? |

Iceland sounds attractive to me, I have never been there and would love to go there. I was in Shetland at the weekend seeing L.O'B (J.O'B. junior) That particular part of UK is further north than Oslo. J.O'B. |

I`m not sure if any part of Iceland is north of the arctic circle. I can assure you that Bodø is. |

According to something somewhere on the web: The mainland of Iceland is just a few degrees south of the Arctic Circle (66°30'N). The Arctic Circle does however pass through Grímsey island, which lies 40 kilometres (25 mi) off the north coast of Iceland. Grímsey is inhabited and according to Statistics Iceland, 86 souls lived there as of January 1, 2013 |

My Grandfather was actually from Iceland and I can see that a flight from Copenhagen has a very good price so I'm giving it a deep thought..... That would be a very special event. S |

As I mentioned in another thread here, I would highly recommend Harpa in Reykjavik as a venue, both inside (acoustics) & out (appearance), having been there for BF's appearance a couple of years ago. ![]() |
