Released 40 years ago today, and an album that still pays divendends on every listen. Others have written eloquently and informatively about its production, impact and , well, yes, it’s stature. Some stand out Ferry originals and a slew of stunning soul covers, it’s lack of commercial success at the time may have made the Roxy Music reunion in the following year more likely. Crictically it stands out as an accomplished and varied piece of work. Enjoy. |
