Chers amis!

Great news about the record release and live dates!

Nothing wrong though to travel to Balkan and give a concert. Soon the citizens of former Great Britain might need a visa to go there. Anyway, it only shows our hero´s dedication and loyality to the fans. Nice to see that Ollie is back in the fantastic band.
Bonne soirée à tous! I am having a glass of red while listening to the masterpiece Bitter Sweet.

I think Ollie's occasional reappearances are for corporate gigs or to cover the absences of other guitarists. When I spoke to him after one of his own gigs recently, he gave no indication that anything more permanent with BF is on the horizon.

Spedding's website confirms 2020 touring with BF, but I don't know if Tom Vanstiphout's services have been retained.

Hipsters,

The ever tasteful Oberon is correct, ‘Bitter Sweet’ is a masterpiece.

Regarding next year’s line up, W2 is less concerned about the choice of second guitarist. As long as he has ‘The Spedster’ leading the charge all will be more than well in the Axe department and our hero has constantly demonstrated his ability to attract the best five string demons.

The big deal for W2 would be to see Colin Good rejoin the touring fold as MD. If we are to have huge orchestral fandangos at TRAH that draw heavily on TFT & ATAP then surely his services will be needed ?

Nobody can tickle the ivories like ‘The Goodster’ and he does that big band stuff so well.

Windswept will continue to pray to The Penshaw Gods for his inclusion.

Salutations,

W2

I hope at least some of W2's prayers get a sympathetic ear, but, if I was a betting man, my money would be on CG, orchestra and a 1974 setlist all being conspicuously absent from RAH 2020! ;)

I'm with Smudge on this.

Bitter Sweet's release hardly got a look-in on the tour this year.

I would not be banking on this being a BF '74 tour revisited set of live shows in 2020 ....... trust me.

Hipsters,
Pour etre serieu, W2 doesn’t anticipate a re-run of 1974 in 2020.
Just a new set list with great arrangements et peut etre an orchestra for TRAH will be just fine.
Without wishing to provoke the never ending voice debate - anybody with 20/20 hearing must realise that a track for track repeat of ‘74 is
an unlikely proposition. ‘It’s My Party’ involves a range that is a distant memory but ‘Tracks Of My Tears’ ? Qui sait?
In any event Windswept has confidence that our hero will make him a happy bunny.
Salutations,
Windswept.

Just a sprinkling would be nice.
