i just noticed that BF played Wildcat Days very recently at a charity gig. shame i didn't hear it, since i like that song a lot. it made me think about other tracks i have either heard or would like to hear which are, let's say, less obvious live tracks (i know vivaroxymusic has solicited input on this before): wildcat days four letter love (just the once though) zamba the bob sea breezes i thought as the world turns strictly confidential you can tell from this list that this is a late evening post and the mood is matching the weather outside... |

Talking of Sea Breezes, does anyone prefer the Ferry solo version to the Roxy version. I do as the "Now, that we are lonely" centre section has much more power to it on the later solo version. |

I too prefer the BF version of Sea Breezes and I would say the same for 2HB and Chance Meeting. I am not so keen on the BF version of Re-make/Re-model. Having said that I like on the Siren tour Roxy's cover of Ferry's cover of a Roxy Music song Re-make/Re-model. (Confusing I know) J.O'B. |

Have you all heard Mike McGear's rendition of "Sea Breezes"? I think it was the first ever cover of a Roxy song, so I enjoyed it at the time. (My vinyl is rotting away in storage back in SA.) |

Yes I have heard Mike McGear's version of 'Sea Breezes' - a while ago now though. It's better than you might imagine and probably one of the better Roxy covers, although that wouldn't be difficult! Apparently it features Mike's brother Paul McCartney on bass. I seem to recall Paul may also have produced the album, but my memory ain't what it was. |
