Talk of guitarists who have played with Ferry made me think about the ones he hasn't played with yet. Mick Ronson who sadly isn't around now. Carlos Alomar who graced many of Bowie's best work. The Edge, could bring an interesting colour to Mr. F's pallet. I would like to hear a bit more of Leo Abrahams, Jonny Greenwood , Johnny Marr and Michael Brook's work with Ferry (where you can actually hear them play). |

He has played with the Edge, once. He came on in Dublin 1988 and played Carrickfergus, I was there and had used up all my film in my camera by the time he came on. http://www.vivaroxymusic.com/songs_82.php I think The Edge and Charlie Burchill of Simple Minds would make a great contribution to Ferry's music. They have a different approach to playing guitar. J.O'B. |
