Last summer BF made mention in interviews that a live album drawn from his solo shows at the Royal Albert Hall in Dec '74 was in the works. Any word on whether that will ever come to be? Or is it in the limbo of "someday it might happen" but who knows when?

Just wondering. I had been hoping that it might be released in time for the Xmas/Holiday season but that apparently is not to be...

I'd be much happier if we got the 40th anniversary first album released as we keep getting promised.

I own the Record Store Day vinyl single of Roxy Music 1 and it was extremely promising. That was in 2015. Meanwhile we are heading towards the year 2017. As DCJ always puts it: Tick-tock-tick-tock ...

But maybe I am way too sceptical and the Roxy boys will deliver us a perfect box with everything the early featherboa phase fan needs.

Including, of course, a farewell tour from London + Newcastle to Munich + Hamburg, from Paris + Rome to Stockholm, Oslo + Amsterdam and then maybe some shows in New York, Sydney + Tokyo ...

Oops, there was something in the wine  But sometimes you really have to dream ...

I thought we might get RAH '74 in time for Xmas this year, but there would need to be an announcement fairly soon.

Deluxe Roxy debut box would at least make the 45th anniversary (only five years late! ;) ), if they could get it ready for next Easter.

Wasn't there some talk of this as a spring release. I guess they meant spring '18,'19,'20. Who knows maybe tomorrow.

It's hard to bear that we've been promised so much . And only delivered of a live album, (Live 2015) which is the first Ferry release I have not bought

Mes Amis,

Il faut être courageux to be a Roxologist or Ferryista !

Mais, the priority has to be the RAH set. Windswept has the fondest of memories of those halcyon days.

This will be a great opportunity to revisit this innovative show and hear tracks from the first two LPs that were played live only on that mini tour.

Naturellement, W2 does not want to deprive 'Feather Boa' lovers of their fun but the RAH set is essential.

Salutations,

W2

Chers amis!
Je suis d'accord avec le grand W2. Et pourquoi pas faire un vélo; RAH -74 + RAH -13?
Bt the way, in Athens I found a new copy of RM live 2001 for 20 euro on yellow vinyl - great stuff!
Have a nice summer!

Hipsters,

Quelle proposition !

That would be fantastic. W2 would like to propose that Oberon be bestowed with the honorary title of 'VP Marketing for Dene Jesmond' without delay !

Fabulous idea. The two RAH - the first and the latest.

Salutations,

W2

I would imagine that commercial sense would suggest the RM1 deluxe set is the next cab off the rank, as it will surely bring in more ££££s and be a top quality package from what we have been told so far. But no reason why RAH 1974 could not be sold through the Ferry website in the same way as the Live 2015 set was as an exclusive. The RAH set list is for the long-time fans and not packed with hits that would make it appeal to a mass audience, so it's surely unlikely to be a huge seller.

So let's have both released this autumn!! A strain on the wallet for sure but long awaited treats both of them.
