Yet again founding member and Emperor Himself has to suffer the ignominy of sharing a stage with his tribute band double? Utterly disgraceful!!!

absolutely correct. Does that have to be shameful for Andy and Phil...
If they also had arthritis too, the space for the New Roxy Music Band would have been completely free.

Dumbled for Bryan. Andy and Phil: you are the true faces of Roxy Music. Thank you !

Just a question, but why do Roxy need two sax players now (as in 2011) and an additional keyboard player if Jobson is playing?

Roxy Music pure (BF/PM/AM/PT/EJ/Bass) is gone since those Siren days IMHO. That's when they used a background chorus. Now we have BF/PM/AM and EJ. Neil Hubbard and Neil Jason have played with Roxy before and Luke Bullen is the best BF tour drummer in years, sometimes as powerful as PT.

So far so good. And now the flap: Jorja Renn. Why not? I am sure that she won't steal the show from Andy. Don't forget that she is multi-talented and plays keyboard, too!

Sadly, no Eno, no Paul Thompson. Unfortunately Mr. Eno has to prove his ecological convictions to the Roxy fans today of all days and Paul Thompson suffers from arthritis which is no fun. BTW, my last Roxy concert was in 2010 when TGPT had got injured in a motorcycle accident shortly before the show ...

At least I am proud of "my" band - they get the recognition they deserve and I wish them good luck for the show 8-) .

PS: Does anybody know if there is usually a dvd record you can buy from those RNRHOF events?

It's a strange way for Ferry to decide who "Roxy Music" should be in 2019 for a live performance. Use most of your current touring band, shoehorn Andy and Phil into the live line-up and call it "Roxy Music".

=>Really very sad. It is his voice that looks old and brittle. Maybe you should reinforce the band with a second singer ??? not that it's going to be a disaster like Night of the Proms ...

=>The good Mr Ferry would certainly advertise his North America Avalon Tour. For this purpose he needs his new Roxy Music Band ...

By the way: Andy wanted to continue working on the studio recordings. I think that's awesome. As he said so beautifully: we also have a responsibility .
Then please bring the recordings to an end and make an album out of it. And if Bryan does not feel like it, then maybe look for another singer. The fans have a right to hear what was produced at the time.
