Mes Amis,

W2’s enthusiasm for our hero’s first solo effort has never waned.

A fantastic, eclectic selection of songs that all benefit from BF’s unique interpretation.

A personal favourite of Windswept’s is ‘Loving You Is Sweeter Than Ever’ with it’s Phil Spector like wall of sound production.

In fact, the only below par track is SWTD - the song just doesn’t suit him.

If you haven’ listened to it for a while, give it a spin but, listen to the whole LP and don’t track hop. You will be rewarded. This is no frivolous side project - it’s a masterpiece and yes, Smile did do a great job on his hair !

Salutations a tous meme Le jardiniere!

Windswept.

Merci ... ! And here there is a Sunday shock Windswept / Gardner agreement ( nearly) :D I also love this album - but I lurv 'Sympathy for the devil' - I like the whole razzmatazz feeling even though most people find it cheesy ... However , I am in complete agreement with Monsieur W about 'Loving you is sweeter than ever' as the years passed by I began to realise that this was a true gem .

My memory tells me that I bought These Foolish Things and Stranded on the same day.
My life forever changed.
Yes, it was the hair.
