Apologies if this news has been posted before, but I have just learned that Neil Hubbard has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. What devastating news for him, his partner and his family.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Roger. Devastating indeed. Let's hope the progress of the disease is slow and Neil responds well to medication. Thoughts with him and his loved ones.

Very sad news indeed a terrible disease.
Another favourite musician of mine Robert Wyatt was also diagnosed with this condition a couple of years ago.

Neil is an absolute gentleman and he is always been a pleasure to meet. He is one of my favourite session musicians that Bryan has worked with.
His solo at the end of Always Unknowing is amazing.
I hope he gets all the help he needs from this horrible disease.
