Hugh Webb

Hugh played the harp on the album As Time Goes By. He studied with Renata Scheffel-Stein, Sioned Williams and Susan Drake, and has since worked extensively in contemporary music, with several new works commissioned for him by the Arts Council from Javier Alvarez, Robert Keeley and Ian Dearden, and premiered both in the U.K. and abroad.

His recent recordings include Bax's Concerto for Flute, Oboe and Harp, CD's of French music, Janacek's works with choir, and Britten's Ceremony of Carols. In 2000 he released the album Celtic Harp.
