Today is the 40th anniversary of the release of the the first Roxy Music album . VirginEMI are celebrating 40 years of Roxy Music with the release of The Complete Roxy Music a box set containing all their studio albums with 2 bonus discs containing all the non album tracks like all the b-sides, 7" single mixes, 12" single mixes and the 3 non album singles etc that didn't appear on thier 8 studio albums released between 1972-1982.
A deluxe edition of the first album is scheduled to be released later this year containing the BBC sessions, studio out-takes - demos and many unpublished photographs and memorabilia from the first album period.
