Details announced of Bryan Ferry to appear in an acting role in the movie 'Breakfast On Pluto’ Roxy Music announce that they will appear at The Isle Of Wight Festival. News appears on Phil Manzanera’s site that Roxy Music are to record their first album together since 1982’s Avalon APRIL Further dates are announced for Roxy Music to play in the forthcoming summer. It is announced that Bryan Ferry has been recording with Scissor Sisters in New York MAY Roxy Music announce a pre tour show for fans family and friends in KOKO club London. Phil Manzanera re-issues his 1999 album ‘Vozero’ with a previously unreleased track ‘Tropical’ JUNE Roxy Music announce more dates. Roxy Music play their first UK shows in 4 years with some of their Isle Of Wight show broadcast on UK TV Phil Manzanera announces details of his forthcoming solo album. Bryan Ferry performs at a private party at Goodwood Festival Of Speed JULY Roxy Music perform at Bonn, Live 8 in Berlin (Stuttgart show cancelled to accommodate this show), Amsterdam, Holland, Frankfurt Germany, Liverpool England, Suiker Festival Tienen Belgium & Alicante, Spain. AUGUST Roxy Music complete their summer tour in Algarve, Portugal. Chris Spedding announces some live dates including Paul Thompson on drums. Bryan Ferry was given a Lifetime Achievement Award by GQ magazine. SEPTEMBER Jonathan Rigby’s Roxy Music biography ‘Both Ends Burning’ is published. OCTOBER Phil Manzanera releases his new solo album ’50 Minutes later’. Phil promotes the album with an interview on Radio 2 & Radio 6. A remix of Roxy Music’s ‘The Main Thing’ by Malcolm Green & Tom Hodge is used on an advertising campaign for the Vauxhall/Opel Vectra. NOVEMBER Chris Spedding’s tour is cancelled. Manzanera talks about the new Roxy Music album in ‘The Scotsman’ Phil Manzanera announces plans to re-issue an expanded version of his ‘801 Live’ album. The Bospop Festival in Holland announce that Roxy Music are to perform there in July 2006 DECEMBER Bryan Ferry performs at a charity event in Barbados.
